The Quran has emphasized several times about feeding the needy. The Prophet PBUH said “Be the first to say Salam and feed the hungry”. TMF has embarked upon several unique projects to carry out this teaching.
TMF started its Mobile Dastarkhwan project in 2023. The project helped us reach different public hospitals across Lahore where we distributed food among needy patients and their attendants. Till date, the Mobile Dastarkhwan has provided over 20,000 meals to these hospitals.
Under the Naiki ka Dastarkhwan Project we organize weekly Dastakwans at Lahore (03), Islamabad and Chakdara. Hundreds of people benefit from these Dastarkhwans on a weekly basis.
With the Naiki ka Ration project we support 30 deserving families per month and provide them with basic rations.
Under this initiative Small street food vendors are supported to give free meals to needy. The pilot project is currently being run in Lahore.
